Ok, so we know that isn't a “fashiony” quote, but that is the push that has made us turn our dream into reality (work in progress yes, but still a reality), and quite frankly this quote sums up the last 8 years.

LolaJune is our baby and has been in our minds for a long time, just about as long as we've known each other. LolaJune, just like our friendship, flourished because of our mutual love for all things beautiful.

So we hope you get to know, and love our baby as she develops from pretty grey lead scribbles on paper, to beautiful constructions from fabric.

We both have a history and love for fashion, whether you call it novice or amatuer. This comes from our backgrounds of sewing with mum teaching us the art of construction, and years of drawing on the back of our school books. By the time of high school, we came to the realistion that fashion was more than clothes on your back but a lifestyle, an art form, the backbone of iconic beauty and a life saver.

As far as our inspiration goes we find it in the smallest things, a love for detail, fabrics and colour. We love anything old school, particularly the twenties, fifties and nineties (our dirty pleasure, Spice Girls! guilty, charged and proud). Anyway this is us, we really do hope you'll love our creations and the journey as much as we already are ...can't wait to share LolaJune with you all.
